booking & cancellation terms

These booking conditions set out the terms on which you contract with Fjell Fellow.  A contract exists between you and Fjell Fellow and all conditions become binding to us both once you have made the booking.

The booking must be made by an adult person (at least 18 years old).


When reservation has made guest will have a cabin’s address and key contact information.  The booking is binding after guest has paid a reservation fee (30 % of the rental price of the accommodation) or the full amount. If payment is not made by a due date, Fjell Fellow reserve the right to cancel a reservation without notice.

With an online booking the full amount will be charged immediately after Fjell Fellow has confirmed guest’s request.

For reservations made by the phone or e-mail, an invoice for the reservation fee will be sent to the customer by e-mail, it is a 30 % of the rental price. It shall be paid within 7 days of making the reservation and the rest for the payment will be made 6 weeks before the booking starts. Guest will receive only 1 invoice, if booking start less than 6 weeks. If reservation start in 27 days or less, the full amount will be paid on the same day.


The cabins are available on the arrival date from 4pm and the check-out is at 11am or 12 noon, depending about a reservation. Key information guest will have from Fjell Fellow up to 2 days before the start of the reservation. If you loose a key you will be charged for the expenses of changing the new locks.


The notice of cancellation must always be made to Fjell Fellow in writing by e-mail to the address [email protected] Cancellation fee is 50€. A cabin booking can be cancelled without other charges 28 days prior to the booking. For cancellations made later then 28 days prior to the booking there will be no refund of already made payments.

Should you want to change your booking after confirmation, we will have to consider it as a cancellation of your booking and the new arrangements will constitute an entirely new booking. We recommend our guests to have an insurance in case of any emergencies or unexpected incidents. 


Fjell Fellow reserves the right to cancel the booking in case of force majeure or other reasons out of Fjell Fellow control such as e.g. fire and/or water damages in the booked accommodation. In this case we will notify you of the cancellation immediately and refund all money paid. Fjell Fellow reserves the right to cancel the booking in case the payments are not done on time. 


Rent includes bedding, tablewear, firewood and cleaning equipment. Bedlinen is not included in the rent unless otherwise stated in the reservation. You can order these additional services in advance via Fjell Fellow when making a reservation.

Guests are responsible for cleaning after your stay and will bring their own bedlinen if they haven’t order these additional services in advance. If cleaning has not been ordered in advance when and the cabin is left without cleaning or not done according to the cleaning instructions, Fjell Fellow has the right to charge a separate cleaning fee with double price.

When end cleaning is included in the rent, Fjell Fellow require that the cabin must be left in the condition it was in with all the furniture in place and intact. Also the cabin outdoor areas should be neat. For end cleaning is not included dishwashing and taking out the garbage.


The guest is responsible for the movables in the cabin during the stay. The guest is responsible for the charges of possible damages.


The cabins can only vacate the number of people mentioned in the cabing details. Tents and trailers outside the cabins are not allowed.


Smoking is perhibited in all the indoor spaces. For illicit smoking indoors will be charged at least 200€ cleaning fee. Fjell Fellow is not responsible for illicit smoking or pet allergies to other guests.


All complaints must be done immediately to Fjell Fellow or for the cabin owner.

Fjell Fellow is not responsible for possible harm or expenses caused by the forces of nature, insects, moles or unexpected weather changes, construction work in neighbor building site, changes of equipments in the apartment/cabin of which the cabin owner has not informed to Fjell Fellow or problems caused by a third party like water-, electricity- or TV network interruption. Some apartments have free Internet access for customers. Fjell Fellow is not obliged to give any compensation of the accommodation costs due to a not properly working internet connection. 


Fjell Fellow has the right to raise or the obligation to reduce the agreed price if taxes for cabin holiday services changes.
